It doesn't sound cool if he is talking trash about your friend. He may be doing that about you too. Sounds like the problem is with him, and others recognize it. Maybe they don't want you to be like him or maybe get hurt by him. Sounds like enough bad stuff you should be listening. I think I would back off. You might get a bad reputation. That is a lot of flak in a short time.

if somebody says anything that may offend you or stop yu from doing what you want then just make fun of them back and make friends with the guy that you like first. BTW you can just tell the ppl that you don't care what hey say and they'll back off

Just because people are saying bad things about you two and your friend said he called her a whore doesn't mean that he did. If you like him and he likes you, then there is no reason to break up with him. Stay with him and ignore all the naysayers.

sounds like you need to stay away if all your so called friends are threatening you. name calling is not a friend, and putting you on the spot and making you feel threatened isn't good. maybe you could talk on the phone.
