I get sore throats a lot, but I stoped having them. Then now I have a bad one. (probally caused by nasle drip). I heard if you have alergies, you shouldn't eat them. But I got these brand new chocolates I have been dieing 2 try, but I am causious about my throat. Does it make your throat worst?

Yes? Because the fat and sugar in the candy will make the virus/bacteria go crazy! Making it harder for your immune system to fight it.
No? Because Dark Chocolate has antioxidants in it. Which helps your body fight diesease...etc but thats more internal.

I am getting over strep throat right now and tried to eat some chocolate ice cream and it made my throat ache pretty bad until I drank a bunch of water. Also just found out the chocolate candies on my desk at work are having the same effect. I don't think I have any chocolate allergy because it's usually fine. Very strange I can't seem to find a solid answer anywhere.

I dont think chocolate really does anything harmful. Eat it or dont eat it, it wont do you any bad, so i say eat the chocolate! Enjoy:)

if your allergy isn't chocolate, i don't see any reason why you couldn't eat them other than the calories in them, my own opinion, an i have no medical experience, eat them an enjoy every one of them, my favorite ones are Lindor, you got to try them, yum yum yum, have a great day!!

I think it would be fine. Chocolate is only bad when you are allergic to it. If you are not allergic to it, you should be fine. Enjoy !
