Everyone has a different perspective on life, love and what makes them happy. Not all men think the same way, or want the same things; just as not all woman think the same (it is what makes us human, and thus desirable).

But to try and help you with your question, I think you will find that most men do not just go for looks. However, I think you will all agree that there has to be some physical attraction to make a relationship work.

Hopefully, by me telling you the way I feel you will have a better understanding: My "ideal" partner would be someone who does not judge me, or anyone else for what we say or for the flaws we have. I look for someone who does not think she is better than anyone else, that is the biggest turn off. If you are worried about looks, don't be; every man has his own attraction, some like the slim, hot & tight, others (like myself) prefer the (though you might hate this word) "cute", hot is actually a turn off for me (though not everyone associates cute and hot the same way I do.)

So, in summation, the question you posed is, for lack of a better term, "useless". You should always be who you are most comfortable being, and take pride in your appearance. It does not matter what men want, as you should never change who you are for any one but yourself; otherwise you will never truly be happy.

Friendship, knowing each others likes and dislikes, spontaneity, feeling of being whole, sharing, and not needing to change the other
