Now I know this girl who is getting married. She has 3 girls all under 10, and on her wedding, she is doing this sand cerimony thing where they usher pours a little bit of white sand in the bottom, then her, her kids and her new husband will have a different color of sand and pour it all in at the same time, then the usher will pour the rest of his sand in at the top. Well, she needs something to call that to put in the um... the thing where it says whats going to happen in the wedding. Also, she wants a good song to go along with that. Like, it isnt a normal wedding with organs playing and stuff, but it should still be wedding- worthy, if you know what I mean. It will play while they are pouring their sand in and she wants it to do with them family coming together and stuff like that. Any ideas?

As far as for in the program, I've seen it just listed as the "sand ceremony". As far as the song, I like the idea of "We've Only Just Begun", but could also use "He Didn't Have To Be" by Brad Paisley (Assuming that the kids are "hers" and not "theirs"). Or what about Faith Hill's "There You'll Be"...I've always LOVED that song.

It's called "blending of the sands" or "Sand Ceremony"

Not sure on the song idea, music is so personal but maybe a song about coming together as one?

The Wedding Song by Paul Oakey (i think that's it, he's from Peter, Paul, and Mary) (it's beautiful...I walked down the aisle to it)

Annie's Song by John Denver (also know as "you fill up my senses" to some people) He wrote it as a love song to his wife, around the time they got married, I think.
