harassment
Well at lunch today this kid jonney and his little brother came to our table and it was all good. Then he (jonney) asked me this question in french (still at lunch) then he told me what it ment. It was "will you go out with my little brother''. i told him i would never go out his little brother. so he kept fallowing me asking me that queston. next some stuipid kid pulled the fire alarm so every one at lunch at the time had to go out to the baceball feild and jonney repeatedly asked me the same question. I was just wondering if him asking me that question is a form of harassment because that is not allowed at my school so yeah. i would like to know so i could get out of class and get him in trouble at the same time

No, it doesn't constitute harassment. Annoyance, yes. Since he posed the question in French, you can say this to him if he keeps pestering you:

Je vous ai dit non deja. Je vous demande gentillement de me laisser tranquille.

This means: "I already told you, 'no.' Now I am asking you politely to leave me alone."

You are saying "vous" to him, which is the formal way to address someone, and definitely means you are not interested.

Here's how to pronounce it:

Je vooz ay dee non day zha. Je voo de monde zhen tee mon de me lessay tran kee.

Bonne chance (good luck!) :-)

I would not call this a form of harassment. However I would not try to get him into trouble. I would try to explain to him that I do not want to date his brother. I would also explain that if he keeps bothering me I will have to inform an adult.

1. Tell him kindly "with all due respect no" or how ever you might kindly put it. It looks like you have already done so.

If he disrespects your answer:

2. Ignore him - say nothing and walk away
