I found a lump. It is hardly on my breast, but is on the border of the armpit and breast. My sister convinced me to get it checked out, and the doctor said it was just a gland and since I am younge ( i am 15) and small it is noticable. But the office was crowded that day and my sister and mother were't convinced. Is it normal to have a gland there that is that noticable (about the size of a large pea) or should I get a second opinion.

regardless if it is normal or not- if you and your mom are not convinced then get a second opinion!

If your sister and mother were not happy with the doctors diagnosis then by all means get a second opinion. What you have sounds very similar to something I have and when I was 18 I had a mammogram to check it out and it was just tissue (I still have it, by the way, and I am 37) Nevertheless, breast cancer sometimes get misdiagnosed so go ahead, have the second opinion and everyone will feel a lot better.

Any an all lumps should be check out by the doctor. Take my word for it, and the sooner the better. Don't drive yourself crazy thinking about it, just do it and put your mind at ease. Chances are it could be nothing but in my case it saved my life because it was cancer.

if you would feel better about it get a second opinion. breast cancer at your age is not common, but why take the chance.

It's always suggested to get a 2nd opinion! I wouldn't trust one person to tell me something like that... I would get possibly a 3rd opinion, too
