If God is good, then it does not want us to suffer. God should immediately put every thing in Heaven. It would end all suffering, eliminate all evil, and put a stop to all sins. There is no sin in heaven, no transgression, no bad things, etc. If free will is good, then everyone in Heaven has free will, but also everyone is happy and nobody does evil. This is because evil doesn't exist in heaven: it's not possible to act badly just the same as it's not possible, on Earth, to sprout wings and fly around at will. If being in Heaven is the ultimate good, then God would gladly put everyone in heaven. There is no disadvantage of doing this. If God wants to, it can. Why doesn't God want to put everyone in Heaven? If there was an omnibenevolent god with free will existing in heaven, then, all people should automatically be in heaven too. That this isn't the case means that either god cannot do it (is not all-powerful) or doesn't want to (is not perfectly loving), or that God simply doesn't exist, or that Heaven doesn't exist.

Don't blame god, blame Greyface. The first reply just mixed up the names.

This is where your free will comes in. You have the right to chose to accept God, and live for him while still on Earth, or to reject Him. If you chose to reject Him, then HE will not force you to spend eternity with Him. By taking you into Heaven that would be forcing you to do something that you have clearly chose not to do, live with God.
God wants everyone in Heaven, that is why HE made a way by sending His only begotten Son to die and pay the price for our sins. You can either accept it or reject it, it is your choice, and that choice must be made before you die. You chose by your actions every day.

First, why is God at fault if we cause others to suffer? Second, why do we deserve, considering our poor treatment of anyone who even comes close to claiming to be a God or Son of God, any kind of special treatment?
Amazing how so many people think that the universe is a preschool and God is bad because he doesn't pass out whatever "candy" they think they deserve.
What nonsense. It is sad we are still so egocentric as to think we are that important in the scheme of things, like spoiled children who think they are owed whatever they want and think their parents are just denying them to be "mean".
You want "Justice"? Let everyone be rewarded by how they act. Let them live in a world surrounded by people JUST LIKE THEM!
That would be justice.
When they change, really change, they get to move to a better world.
Actually, it's kind of funny. The world works like that to a great extent. What kind of people surround you?
Keep questioning. But get over the idea that God has to babysit us. It's very...young.

Little miss/mr keaton,
Since you are not GOD, you must be less than GOD. Since you are less than GOD, you should not attempt to act as though you are able to outthink HIM. HE has already told you how to get to heaven. HIS SON opened the doors to heaven. Now all you have to do is make a conscious decision to go there and get to work at it.
Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
1. HEAR - Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
2. BELIEVE - In Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
3. REPENT - Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
4. CONFESS CHRIST - 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
5. BE BAPTIZED - Romans 6:3-4 do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
6. CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

OK my confused friend let me explain in simple terms:
God is an omnipotent being.
There was no space and time.
There was no universe, no earth.
There were no human BEINGS.
A fallen angel, Lucifer, another BEING was cast out of heaven.
Then God created the world and time in which we know of.
It was perfect, no sin, no evil, just Gods creation.
The fallen angel, Satan, despised human BEINGS b/c God loved us so much.
He decided to take away what was Gods perfect creation by tricking us and having us now know good and evil.
This brought sin into the world.
God actually decided to destroy human BEINGS when we became entirely ridiculous and sent the flood. He found favor with one and promised to never do that again.
So he sent himself, in human form . .. . . . his son, to die for all our sins so we COULD go to heaven.
It all exists you just need to read your Bible, ask for understanding and pray he saves your soul through Jesus Christ who died so that you may go to HEAVEN.
God Bless

Maybe you don't have all the facts.
He has revealed Himself to me.
"Where is the wise man?
Where is the scribe?
Where is the debater of this age?
Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
For since in the wisdom of God the world in its wisdom did not come to know God,
God was well pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe."

As a Christian their are a lot of questions that I myself have about life in general, however As I grew to know GOD I realized that we should not question the Father and his Will. No matter what he is always intervening in our lives for the better. I can tell you that I know that the wait (to HEAVEN that is) Is definitely worth the wait! Patience is a virtue!! Everything shall and will come to Pass in due time!
GOD BLESS and I hope that you find more understanding about GOD/CHRIST and who he is!!

He needs us to worship him, we won't worship imaginary things without some motivation, so he promises us that we have a choice, free will. Worship him, or burn in hell eternally. Because he loves us.
Wait, wait, I have it all wrong. It's part of God's mystery. It's not for us to know, like why my nephew was born with a "flipper" for a left hand. The "intelligent designer" thought, every once in a while, I'll throw in a flipper hand. You know, to shake things up.
Your god is dead, and no one cares, if there is a hell, I'll see you there. NIN

God is sinless. He cannot allow sin in His presence. God even forsaked Jesus when Jesus was on the cross because He was full of sin at the time. Only if you accept Jesus into your heart and then His blood shed for you will cleanse you of your sins. Then you will become pure and God will allow you to join Him in forever heaven.

He has shown great love by sending the best part of Himself [Jesus Christ] to earth to die for you and me and be resurrected as He was. He is the example and His teaching are the tools we need to succeed in this life now. So learn to be one of His good soldiers and accept His great love on your behalf. NO SHORTCUTS TO HEAVEN. YOU HAVE TO GO THRU THE DOOR FIRST.

think of it this way, when you were younger or even now, your parents or those you called your parents, loved you enough to put their lives on the line for you. They loved you enough to starve and put themselves through misery so you would not have to do the same. When you did things that were wrong, they would discipline you or punish you as best they could for the wrong you had done. God is the same way. He will punish those who go against his regulations and those who bring pain and suffering to the world. Its like you dad or mom telling you, "if you do that i'm going to hit you with the belt." God said his words and rules to be followed and will punish those who did what they were told Not to do.
