i have read some answer that says that if someone ever go to Hell, he will stay in Hell for limited time, and then get out from it. and then i read in the Quran i saw this:

Quran 2:80
[80] And they (Jews) say, "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days." Say (O Muhammad (peace be upon him) to them): "Have you taken a covenant from Allâh, so that Allâh will not break His Covenant? Or is it that you say of Allâh what you know not?"

[81] Yes! Whosoever earns evil and his sin has surrounded him, they are dwellers of the Fire (i.e. Hell); they will dwell therein forever.

KC Superstar got it right.

the traditional Jewish concept of hell is temporary though it can be longer than a year. (abet not fun)

If you are truly evil with no redeemable qualities after your time your soul is destroyed.

There are some that say it is possible to get eternal damnation but they are a minority opinion.

The concept of eternal damnation is simply a scare tactic. It serves no value to the person who is being tortured because he gains nothing from it, and what value is it to G-d to have someone suffer for ever. Better that he be redeemed or cease to exist.

The traditional Jewish belief in Hell is somewhat comparable to the Roman Catholic doctrine of Purgatory. Jews believe that Hell lasts a single year, at the most. You stay in Hell depending on your behavior on earth. If you are truly evil, your soul will be destroyed. If you have been purified, your soul will be resurrected upon the heralding of the Messiah.

yes, the closest thing that judaism has to a "hell" is a temporary thing, that everyone goes there for at least a moment, but there is a maximum sentence of 1 year of human time. though of course, 1 year can be a very long time in some circumstances...

the jewish conception of G-d is that he is a G-d of justice and mercy, not punishment. since sending people to eternal hell for finite sins they committed during a short lifespan is not the action of a just or merciful G-d, we therefore come to the obvious conclusion that G-d does not do that.
