scientifically unexplainable divine interventions. aka miracles. they have happened. and in the 1900s and 1800s, not like in biblical times.

Alright, since you bring religion up in this way I know you are trying to start a fight. But whatever, if there was proof of God, or Jesus ascending to the sky, or of Elijah getting flown into the sky by chariots then what would we need faith for? there is no proof. That is why religion are referred to as a faith. but there is also no proof of the big bang... but so that the people don't have to use the word "faith" they use the word "theory" instead. As far as I see it, if a "big bang" ever did happen then there had to be something before that. it is more logical to say that someone created that big bang (if it did happen) then to say that the universe was nothing, but then just erupted into everything from nothing (which would mean all people who believe this are creationists along the line, if not neccasarily creation from intelligent design then from nothing at all).

What if there was no beginning?
It took billions of years for evolution, in the last 200 years we've invented the car, the plane, electricity, computers, the internet, the telephone, satellites, etc. etc. etc. How hard is it to believe that if all that came to be in 200 years that evolution couldn't take place over 2-3 billion years?
Sometimes when it seems "God is doing things in your life" It's called positive thinking, "miracles" happen to people in every religion. It's obvious in the Bible that God doesn't have an interest in believers of other Gods. in fact didn't he kill all the first born sons of Egypt........oh that's right.
It's great that loving God makes people happy, but really it's just a false hope. Welome to reality.

The answer to your question is an emphatic no.
But this is not because God does not exist; for indeed, He does!
There are at least 2 problems with your question/demand...
I can prove to you that I exist.
God can prove to you that He exists.
I will not prove to you that I exist, and God may not prove to you that He exists.
The truth behind (or around) this "predicament" is clearly proclaimed by Jesus Christ (and is all throughout the Bible):
"Did I not tell you that if you beleived, you would see the glory of God..."
It is nearly always so in the order of truth...faith precedes evidence!
So, a problem with most...is that they demand evidence in order to have faith. But this belittles God and reduces Him to YOUR servant, as if YOU were God. God will have none of this foolishness, especially from one of His fallen, sinful creatures! In asking or demanding something from God, you are putting Him to the test. And it is written, "Do not put the Lord your God to the test..."
Many people, religious leaders, etc. demanded a "sign" or "proof" or "evidence" from Jesus. But He rebuked them saying that an adulterous generation asks for a sign, and told tham that NO sign shall be given. Some still yet followed Him, and others did not. And it is the same today. No sign shall be given.
=
The second problem is that NO proof would be enough. In other words, if God were to actually appear to you...what proof would that be that God actually exists? Perhaps you hallucinated...or perhaps someone tricked you with an illusion...or perhaps you have a mental disease...?
For a person who has faith, NO PROOF IS NEEDED.
For a person who has no faith, NO PROOF IS ENOUGH.
=
So....NO...I cannot show you proof.
It is impossible.
I was an atheist through college. I sat down to read the Bible and prove it wrong. Now, I know Him and cannot escape from proof of His existence in my life. But it was my faith that preceded all the amazing proof that I have beheld personally. Of course, it would be foolish to tell you about all the proof that I have beheld to YOU...as if it would prove to YOU anything. My testimonials hold no weight with you, for you don't even know me. If you did know me, and the trustworthiness of my word, perhaps then there would be weight behind my testimony. But alas, this is not so.
So I stand by my original answer: an emphatic no!
Buy I do pray He reveal Himself to you.
I do not wish the fate of hell on my worst enemies...

The order of nature. The fact that it isn't all chaos. The variety of nature. The millions of people who've had prayers answered.
My question to you: would you really believe? Look around you, honestly think about how this all came about. Do you honestly believe that evolution was the sole cause of all that is out there? Of all the plants and animals which don't really need to exist? If faced with the facts, would you actually believe in God, or would you come up with some excuse that he doesn't exist: "that's just luck" or any such thing. How many cases of "just luck" can there be?
Truth is, the evidence is overwhelming. But we are all human beings, and we can refuse to believe things even if they are there. So, even if everything were pointed out to you, would you believe it is true?

There are ages of written documents attesting to the existence of God. I assume written references spanning ages and written by countless men of genius is not sufficient evidence for you. You appear to require that God show Himself to you personally which is not a thing I have any control over. It is very hard to give you any evidence. I can refer you to the definition of God as The Creator and then point to any thing in existence as proof, but I doubt you would even accept a definition of God as a way to prove His existence.
So, no, I can't show you proof.

Do you love your Grandmother? Prove it.
Y'ever heard the joke about the guy stranded in the middle of the ocean and a guy in a row boat saw him and asked him if he needed help and the stranded guy said, "no thanks, God will rescue me." Then the same thing happened with a fishing boat, then a cruise ship and finally the guy drowned. He was in heaven and asked God why He didn't save him. God answered, "What do you mean? I sent a row boat, I sent a fishing boat, I even sent a cruise liner!"
See, you may not see God in the world around you but it doesn't mean that He's not there. And even if God floated down to Earth from Heaven right in front of you, you would have to be open-minded enough to believe that you weren't crazy and he was indeed God and not some alien.
Without work on your part what you ask is impossible. You have to be willing to receive proof for it to be revealed to you.
God wants to know that you love him wholeheartedly. If he proves to you that He exists, then how does he know that you love him for him? Maybe you love him because you fear going to Hell. He wants you to love him for him.
There are steps to finding the proof you seek, but one of the first ones is for you to have faith. But don't confuse the word "faith" with belief. They are not the same thing. Read some of my early responses to questions like this.
Ever heard the phrase "fake it till you feel it?" It works here.
In case you are (or someone else is) interested and willing the steps are...
Read the Bible with an open mind.
Trust God that he will open your heart. (fake it if you must)
Pray to Him (fake it if you must). Just talk to Him.
Repeat
If you keep an open mind He will reveal himself to you.
Do you really honestly think that you will find an answer to this question? Come on. Whoever answers this will receive the first Nobel Prize in Religion as well as the Nobel Peace Prize and perhaps all of the Nobel Prizes because within his answer you will find all of the answers of the universe.
You just want an argument.

Someone told me once that it says in the bible that the earth was round, and at that time it wasn't known. so the bible must be true. Unfortunately, they didn't do their homework.
Eratosthenes, a Greek mathematician, figured out that the world was round in 1250 b.c. using geometry. Aristotle figured it out again in 400 b.c. But most theists don't want real facts, they make up their own.

Most theists will respond, "Can you show me that God doesn't exist?"
Some theists may actually answer the question, in the forms of, "The universe is too fine-tuned," or, "Our bodies are far too compilcated."
However, both arguments are false.

Looking for spiritual (or non-physical things) through a method of pure physical observation (the scientific method) is about as effective as using a metal detector to find a plastic jug. The plastic jug may be there, but you're never going to find it that way.
