More troops doesn't equal a better military, China and India have massive amounts of troops but very little capability to project them outside of their immediate borders. China is getting better at this but is still using antiquated Cold War era Soviet equipments or their Chinese made derivatives. Russia and the US can deploy combat ready troops anywhere on the globe within 24 hours. In conventional warfare the US, China, or Russia can defeat anything thrown at them.

the US unfortunately. Britain was much better when it was in control. Nobody stepped out of line, except the US who now cause alot of trouble. Granted they do help in some cases.
