according to the bible, god didnt "create" the devil in the way that you mean. satan is supposed to be a fallen angel that was initially in heaven, but things like envy, greed etc...... got to him and he was cast out of heaven and damned to hell.
Im not preaching, I just remember the subject coming up in sunday school and stuff when I was little.
As for making us "immune" to the temptations of satan......it would be easier for us, but the whole point of the creation of humans was to give us all the resources to make all of the "right" choices, and to show that we can exercise our free will to make good or bad choices. its more virtuous to turn your back on what is easy for what is essentially harder but right.......its all very wordy I know.... hope it helps

You need to believe God exists and is a creator first.
Second you have to believe the history of how we came into existence and how we were created.
When you do, you will understand.
We are human BEINGS. God is a BEING. Angels are another BEING. This evil you speak of was created by the fallen angel Lucifer. When we say God created EVERYTHING we are talking about from the existence of this reality and time realm.
The cosmic stew you refer to didn't exist when evil originated. Satan saw how much God loved his CREATION and wanted to destroy it. He did so by tricking the original human BEINGS, and then sin was born into the world. Sin is what keeps human BEINGS from the spirituality realm of God. It is Satan's hope and will to have you not believe and fall into the trap that he doesn't exist.
The "horned devil" isn't HUMAN so you are talking about apples and oranges.
God Bless

according to the history of many religions... MANY religions, God created everything without the intention of having any problems arise. He created the angels to be his helpers. He created man to be his children. Now, the question, where did the devil come from, according to scripture, Lucifer was one of God's most trusted angels and grew tired of having the "children of God" placed at his level if not above his level. His hatred for man eventually led to a revolt in heaven in which 1/3rd of the angels of heaven were cast into hell along with Lucifer. The question of why didn't God make man stronger was again because he never expected problems to arise from any of his creations. He gave humans Free Will to make decisions based on what they knew and were willing to learn. Like so many things in life, when we think things are going perfect, there is usually at least one thing to mess things up for us. Same issue with God and Lucifer and man. In fact, if you look at the history of the word Evil, it was not created not known until the understanding of good was completely known. For example, Darkness is the complete lack of light in any form. Which means, in order for darkness to exist, light must exist. So, based on this example, if there is such thing as good in the world then there must be such things as evil in the world. A sense of balance from the original falling of the 1/3 angels.

God didn't creat evil. he created everyone with their own free will and some people chose to turn away from him. those are the ones that do evil. and satan doesn't exist; well not as one person anyways. it's just a personification of all the dark souls on this earth

The Original Creator who orchestrated The Big Bang billions of years ago was not infinite in spiritual development, just very advanced. An indication of this is the fact that many scientists, mathematicians, and astronomers espouse that the Universe is not endless or infinite, just extremely large.
Thus, an extremely large Universe was created by an extremely advanced - but not infinite - spiritual being.
All spiritual growth is a matter of degree.
Contrary to what many assume, The Original Creator did not create evil. Evil is the result of pursuing a path of unethical or immoral activity. We know what evil is from our own inner discernment derived from our application of The Golden Rule or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
When we cultivate our 'god spark' from serving others and striving to live by The Golden Rule, we develop our inner sense of what is right and what is wrong. When we abuse innocents, including ourselves, we damage our inner discernment ability. Which is why mass murderers and rapists have a very difficult time defining evil - as they have corrupted their inner ability to distinguish right from wrong.
"God" is actually two different yet related concepts that many in the flesh often confuse to be one and the same thing.
The first concept of God is The Original Creator who orchestrated The Big Bang and then divided itself up completely into trillions of basically spiritual souls or "angels." In this time-line and time-frame, we are what is left of The Original Creator.
Which is not to state that there will not be a First Coming, which there will be. (This is a topic for another thread...see the Solist Overview page at the site below for a more thorough explanation.)
The second concept of God is The Light Of The God Force which many Near Death Experiencers report seeing "at the end of the tunnel." This is the nonliving, infinite energy source in the Spirit that everyone has access to when free of matter - the degree of which is determined by spiritual evolution.
All psychic and telekinetic Gifts stem from people on The Other Side who are in The Light and who channel that energy into people, granting them one or more Gifts of the Spirit. All Reiki, Seichem, Christian, Buddhist, Qigong, and Pagan healers are channeling The Light from people in the Spirit. Without The Light, there can be no Gifts of the Spirit or telekinetic miracles. All of the prophets - including Issa/Jesus - received their Gifts from people in The Light on The Other Side.
The Original Creator did not create The Light. The Light always existed and always will exist and represents the ONLY WAY that reality can emerge from nothingness. Without The Light, there would be no Universe, no Original Creator, and no souls.
The Original Creator struggled for a long time to evolve into existence and then to evolve into becoming a Saint, then a neophyte God Realized Master, and then a rarefied God Realized Master. There are no shortcuts. The Original Creator did not just suddenly pop into existence as a Rarefied Being of Light. That evolution had to be earned, just as our evolution must be earned - through selflessness, a moral focus, and through our Radiance of Love.
Good and evil are not relative but absolute. The Universal Law which governs The Light cannot be changed one iota. Those who go against Universal Law in some way lessen their ability to ascend into The Light after bodily death.
That is how cosmic justice operates. By one's ability or inability to ascend after death to a spiritual plane of existence. The higher the spiritual plane, the greater the expansion of consciousness, the brighter it is, and the more powerful the dimension of energy. When a soul has the inner development to be able to create matter at will on an individual basis in The Light after returning to Spirit, then that soul has become a God Realized Master.
To become a Co-Creator in and from The Light is the ultimate goal of everyone who is on a spiritual path.
The Original Creator did not create us. We are what is left of that Godhead. It is up to us to evolve into becoming our own Masters. Only then will we find long-term happiness from the power and security of being in The Light to a very high degree.

What we label as "God" is All That Is. This means there is only God, and everything God creates.
Evil is the "result" of our turning away from God, which we can't in truth do.
Since only God exists, and we are God's beloved creation, evil cannot exist.
Nothing unreal exists.
Evil is what is not. This means it is opposite to God, and God has no opposite.

God is loving so He gave us free will. Had the Devil not been created, someone else could have come up with the idea of evil themselves.

The perfection in GODS creation of humans is that HE gave the FREE WILL! The absolute capability to freely choose!
HE did not MAKE humans love or belief in HIM!
Had GOD done that, the implication would be that Humans are not capable of choosing right from their own couinscious! HIS creation would be flawed, right from the beginning!
With a FREE WILL, and the gift of intelligence Each Humans chooses for him/her self!
That is why praying to GOD to make someone love you will NEVER be answered! To do so would be to take away the other persons Free Will!
The evil in the world today is the failure to follow the Ten Commandments, or Christ's two commandments; Love God above all else and LOVE on another as He loved us.
Every evil, negative act occurring any where on earth is because of humans violating any one of the Ten Commandments, or either one of Jesus’ two commandments!
So many do not believe in GOD, and we see it played out everyday, everywhere; Children raped and murdered wars upon wars because there is no love. Racial and ethicist confrontations, males abusing females, females offering their bodies for money and males buy and enticing them to do so. Humans of all ages held against their will as sex slaves all over the world!
Children murdered in the womb, males refusing to care for their children, females abandoning or killing their off springs. WAR machinery conceived and built at the tune of trillions of dollars and out cries of rage when request are made to clean up poverty; eradicate ignorance thru schooling for all, everywhere!
Weapons for all but not food!
GOD gave us everything that we need in this environment; don't you think that humans should use their GOD given Free Will, to eradicate the EVIL that is caused be cause Humans chose EVIL rather than GOOD?
It is not up to GOD to clean up our freely chosen mess. After all, Humans chose to break it, Humans can Chose to fix it!

The Fall of Man dates back to Adam and Eve our first mother and Father who brought sin into the world, Man became corrupted and had greedy minds and hate in their hearts. Therefore evil exits from both man and demonic entities that we cannot see.

Evil was described by Albert Einsteen as the lack of god's love, just as darkness is the lack of light. It doesn't exist, but describes a state.
