My mom has been getting Remicade (infliximab) infusions for rheumatoid arthritis for about 4 years now. Recently she's showing signs of memory loss, and severe mood swings. Has anybody out there ever taken Remicade, and if so, what were your side effects? How long have/did you take it for?

I was going to take remicade, but my Dr changed to Enbril because he liked it better. I have been taking it for 5 years and have had no side effects yet. I give myself two shots a week and it seems to do well.
Do the side effects of Remicade mention those problems? Has the Dr looked into the side effects? If not, contact the company who makes it and ask them.

Has she been checked for AD? Alsimers Disease?
