You may want to send a sample of the water for testing. Not all tap water gives kidney stones, but there is apparently something about yours that is off.

Have you tried drinking cranberry juice? That does help a lot with urinary tract problems.

You may want to consider seeing a doctor too, in case you actually have some other problem that wants attention.

Good luck.

Tap water does not give you kidney stones. Does your kidney hurt when you drink bottled water? Take a sample of your water to the city, or whoever supplies your water. They can analyze it and tell you if you are getting contamination from your piping system.

Tap water is so-called 'hard water'. The problem you're having is not unusual. I've solved it by getting a water purifier, but bottled water is just as good (only more expensive!)
