You're talking about pure water.Water in a glass could be polluted with bacteria, germs, algae or any other harmful substance, just as religion can be.

I'm guessing that this is what you are getting at: no matter how you say "water", it is all the same thing. Therefore, no matter what god you worship, it is all the same in the end. Which would be great if there actually were a god....

Study linguistics my friend. From a Buddhist perspective, what's in their glass depends on the perception of the person looking at it... to some it's a refreshing drink... to others it's POISON.
