Don't know, but whatever it is, it's too much. That man is a raving lunatic.(remember he actually thinks that he invented the internet! yeah and I founded microsoft) The earth has been in a constant cycle of warming and cooling for the last 100 million years. The suggestion that we mere humans have the ability to cause any kind of measurable change in the earths cycle is ignorant. Take into consideration for a moment the truly devastating volcanic eruptions and cosmic impacts (that he probably thinks humans caused) that the earth has experienced through-out its history, and still the earth is still here. Sure we are in the middle of a global climate change at present, but this change has occured consistantly on a minor scale every 30-50 thousand years and on a major scale every 100-200 thousand years. Last time that I checked there were no factories, automobiles, spray paint, or any other supposed manmade greenhouse gases 70,000 yrs ago when the last global warming trend occured.

Why is every body so bitchy about Al Gore efforts ?? , he is not hearting any body by suggesting we humans have accelerated the process of over heating our world before its natural time , has he pointed a finger at you ??? or, at the real culprits of production consumerism !! Al Gore, might be right or if he might be wrong , lets face it, he is trying to shake us up into changing a course by letting us decide for our self's ,after we view what he has found on his own ,by presenting to us at his expense the facts of the world changes, that should have not started for another 100 years , you have to give him credit for trying ,what are you doing ?? If any body believes that we humans have not accelerated the global worming is still in la,la land , science and scientists have emphatically proven that yes we have done our part to spoil this world and is everybody responsibility to do some thing about instead of demeaning some ones effort to help ,even if he is wrong , but what excuse will you have if he is right ? are you willing to take that chance , I am not , I prefer to err on the side of being right . And if Al Gore does receive fee for his speakings .... Why not , wouldn't you ?? I would .
