We are engaged and looking for ideas on how to combine our Hindu / Buddhist cultures for a wedding? Has anyone done this or have any ideas please?

I am actually marrying a Thai. I personally am not Buddhist, nor Thai, but we are doing a few things the "Thai" way.
On the morning of the wedding we are having a Buddhist monk bless us in the customary manner, with our wrists joined with flowers, and holy water poured over them.
Also, for my "send-off" outfit, I am wearing a traditional Thai wedding dress. I love the silk, and the style.
I'm not sure what Indian wedding customs are, but maybe you can take some of these ideas.

No but I've eaten Indian and Thai food.
