Is WHAT love or lust? It doesn't sound like there's anything there yet except a few get-to-know-you-dates. Is there sex involved yet?

And what kind of guy shares a fear of abandonment with a woman after such a short time?

I think that whole work thing is a cop out. My boyfriend said the same exact thing to me, which is why we are currently not together(we live in separate states now). I guess you really need to look at the relationship and ask yourself if he is giving his all, and are you? Why do you only see each other once a week? For two people who love each other, it doesn't seem like enough. Do you really connect spiritually with this person, or is it just someone to have fun with occasionally? It sounds like the latter to me.

Well i say lust for a few reasons there is a 21 year difference ... as well you only see him once a week. So think about it ... you see him 52 times out of 365 days in a year.
Hope i helped :)

Only time will tell. The age thing is significant, but there are rare birds who truly don't care. Of course when he is your age you will be
77. The thing that has to be looked at is what does he want? There are a jillion con men who prey on lonely women. Is he as he portrays? Only time will tell. My advice, go sloooow.

I seems to be love but tell him you want to take that next chance. He can't try to predict what will happen. He will miss out on a lot if he thinks that. You guys need a chance and to see what happens

hmm i dont think its love... i think this is lust considering the age difference hes most likely into it for other reasons (no offense to you) and he might just be playing with your emotions there are guys out there that will do that

If you have to ask if you're in love or not, then you're not in love. You don't have to plan when to say you love them and they don't have to plan it either - it will just come out. If you really want to tell him, then tell him now so that if he doesn't love you you can move on.

lust is when you want someone for what they look like. it doens't seem like that so I'd say love, or something like it.

time will tell. Why rush into labeling your relationship? In time it will show what it is, until then enjoy it!
