Ok, 3 weeks ago, I asked one of my female friends out (we were friends for 1 month). We used to flirt and shoot long glances towards each other. First she said "Oh, that'll be cool!" Then right after that she says "I don't know." Then after that she says "I'm really busy these days. Thanks for the offer." After that I don't speak to her for the next 2 weeks. Then, 2 days ago, I saw her from a distance and we were walking right towards each other. She saw me, smiled but wasn't even looking at me when she was smiling (lol) and then stared at the ground. Yesterday, she saw me from a distance and I saw that she kept looking my way and kept fixing her hair. She kept staring at me from a distance.
Today, I was sitting outside and didn't notice her walking by me. She did a really 'shy' wave at me and said "hey...how are you?" And then she looked away and then looked back really quick and then looked away again. I get the feeling that she has been acting really shy around me lately.

But she is (and im not kidding) THE MOST OUTGOING PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. She talks to everyone, laughs all the time, always up and about, shes like a hyperactive puppy. Then these few days, it seems like she's trying to talk to me, but in a REALLY SHY WAY.

I don't get it? What is she trying to do? What the heck is going through her mind right now?

I am really outgoing too and as long as I'm not interested in a guy - cool! But as soon as I notice feelings - gone was my coolness and I turned into a shy little person with no self confidence what so ever. That could be a reason for her to act the way she does. If I were you I'd walk up to her and ask again! Take a chance and see what happens!

sounds like she's rethinking her answer now, but isn't sure how to say yes now without looking dumb. but maybe she's just embarassed now that she turned you down...I would subtlely let her know you still like her and see what happens. it's also possible she really is busy these days...never rule out the obvious answer...but it sounds like she likes you.

"no" means "no," unless it means something else.
