The action of loving is learned. If you were never loved, you would never know how to love. So, yes, one could live life without ever feeling or giving love, but it would be a miserable existence.

No...that is what God put us on earth to do--love each other. Most of our commandments are based on the theory of love--either loving God or our neighbors and their property. A life without love isnt worth living.
