Endangered species.... mammal, herptile, bird or fish? OK, I'll pick..... mammals. One from each continent... ok. There are actually only 7 true continents (defined as 1 contiguous mass of land). There is Oceania (a political continent), which is made up of islands and atolls in the South Pacific, but that is normally included with Australia (presented as Australia/Oceania) as the islands (including the islands of New Zealand) are relatively close to it, but I'll treat it as a seperate one.
Tiger - Asia
Black Rhino - Africa
Manatee - North America
Wallaby - Australia
Short-tailed Chinchilla - South America
Iberian Lynx - Europe
Elephant Seal - Antarctica
the only endangered species I can think of for Oceania is the Blue Whale (it's a mammal and Oceania IS mostly water)
