I must admit that Valentines day serves to remind me that I am alone and have been alone for nearly two years, despite my best attempt to find someone.
Thus, despite telling myself that it is merely a day, I still find that Valentines Day begins to get to me.

It doesn't bother me. I know someday I will have a Valentine to celebrate it but I'm all right for now.
I compensate for my lack of romance by making cards for all my friends! It is really quite fun, even without a Valentine!!

I am not going to pander to your sympathy by portending not to have gotten Valentines, like some of the others I could mention, but i will tell you, do to past experience, it sucks. It sucks to know that the whole world is to selfish to love you, and look a some of the unworthy people that are receiving love, while you are not. Take one of those over primped chicks for instance; how would you like to jump one of their boyfriend's bones and let one of them (one like a certain "Hottie") go without a Valentines next year. Well better luck next year; just remember "Nice guys [girls] finish last."

after all the holidays from thanksgiving to Christmas and all the negative attitudes, come on, not having a valentine is OK. life will not end. i am married and my husband doesn't;t even care about the celebration, in a sense i agree, cause i don't want material stuffed animals collecting dust or weight gain from candy. enjoy your self everyday.

It has bother me, but what else can you do about it. You must make the best of it even if you are alone. It is just one day in the year so deflate the pull it might have on your heart the best way you can. Do something special for yourself.

Nope, because it's so over-commercialized like x-mas that it took the romance I like participating in any day of the year out and Valentines is just another capitalist walmart day if you ask me.

it doesnt. well this Vday I am not single.. or the last one. but ones before that I would take myself out to dinner and or a movie or go shopping. it doesnt bother me it is just like any other day really.. so cheer up, go buy urself something and watch a movie at home and cook dinner or what not

yes it's my last year of highschool and I haven't had a valentine all of highschool. Every valentines day is depressing.
