problem with flash player 9?

i download flash player 9 from adobe but it won't work i click on the download button a window comes saying install adobe flash player and that's it flash player 9 still is not installed but i go to add or remove programs and it shows adobe flash player 9 ActiveX i used the unistaller and tried to install it again but that did not work what should i am using internet explorer 6

Stop using IE and switch to FireFox. Also stop using Windows while you are at it and switch over to Linux or a MAC.

You have to make sure that you are RUNNING it and not SAVING it. You should see an installation screen when you pressed RUN. If you can't run it you must save it to the desktop then double click it. If nothing works, get Firefox. It has less viruses, it has built in search engines (there's 6 but you can add more), and it has a built in installer that installs every thing you need to have to view a page (Flash, Java, etc.).

Here is a link for a download that will update your Flashplayer 9. Alot of people are having the same problem and with this update the problem should get fixed.
