It is not probable, but it is possible. Having a drivers license is a privilege, not a right. If a judge says you have to submit to a drug test to keep a valid drivers license, then you do or you lose your license.

It would be more likely if you had some kind of drug conviction in the past, or something related to the speeding ticket, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I guess the best answer would be, don't use drugs and you wouldn't have to worry about failing a drug test.

The only time a person is given a drug test or an alcohol PBT test is if that person is acting in a manner not fit for the court room or a member of the court detects the odor of alcohol on the persons breath - If you act as a civilized person in the court room no test is ever administered for a simple speeding ticket.

When standing before a judge...he can order what he wishes if it's to determine a final judgement of an issue at hand.

You don't normally see people drug tested as you indicate...but...it CAN happen if the judge so decides!

No, not unless that have probable cause.

They can't give you a drug test when you go to court unless you are on probation of something like that.
