spend as much time with him as you can ..he is your dad and he loves you and you love him and he does realize that he is failing just give him lots of love and support...believe me parents are such a blessing!! i just lost my mother she was only 72 and it has been so hard on me my father died 4 years ago and i wish i could go back in time and be there more than i was .. i miss them both so much! so my advise is to be with him as much as you can!!

Ask yourself this question, "do you want to regret anything once he's gone?" and the simple answer is no. So do what you need to do so that you feel RIGHT about it. Phone calls, visits, photos, looking over old albums, watching movies or sports together...whatever it is, make yourself some last memories to hold close. Sorry.

Your dad might up living longer then you. You never know. I taking that you love him every much. Spend time with him. Take him out for walks in big parks. Talk alot. Older people like that. And make sure you know every thing is legally set in motion just in case. Best thing for you is love him and take care him. He needs you now.
