He is 54 and smokes, but not alot. He does not wear alot of jewelry, only a thin gold chain around his neck. He is pretty old fashioned, likes sports. Not sure if he would wear the bracelet or not. I would have the bracelet personalized with his name on one side and the date we met on the back side. It looks nice. My daughter suggested the lighter. What do you think he would like better. Thanks for responding.

The bracelet for sure, it's a romantic gesture and it's a symbol of the time that you two share and cherish, it's not too mushy but it's personal, it's the right gift.

In a girls opinion, guys are sometimes really hard to buy for. I would simply get him a gift card. Then he can pick out whatever he wants and you dont have to worry about if he would/wouldnt like the present you got him. Good Luck!

I know you said a mans opinion but i've had my experiences with my husband. So my Best answer for this would be to get him a gift card or gift certificate so he can pick out what he likes. take him to dinner and maybe a movie that you both choose or let him choose. good luck.

I hate gift cards, certificates. I would prefer the lighter. I have never worn jewelry and I'm not comfortable when I do.

what are you trying to do? kill him with cigarettes? I smoke and I know that its detrimental to my health, how about not trying to promote this unhealthy habit. and bracelets are gay, not that theres anything wrong with it. Most guys don't care about gifts. just wear something sexy and treat him like a king for a day, that's probably what he really wants, at least that's what i would like.
