If you are either too young or not able financially or emotionally to raise a child you should give them up for adoption. I say that only if you think you can go through the pregnancy. Abortion leaves guilt as well as adoption but at least you have the hope that your baby will get the best parents ever to raise them. Having your Mom raise the baby is not fair to you or her in the end. Abortion also leaves a toll on your body which may prevent pregnancy in the future. I hope everything turns out well for you. This is not an easy decision for anyone.

Depends on how old you are. 18 and under..abortion. That would ruin your life and take away your child hood. You would resent having a child at that age for the rest of your life. Babies are a HUGE job. Over 18 you should have it and raise it. You can get a job and take care of your child. It would be hard but you're a woman and you have to take responsibility for your actions. BUT you should NEVER put a child up for adoption. NO!!!!!! DO you now what happens to those children?! They have a horrible and hard life if they dont get adopted. Even if they do..you still dont know whats happened to them or who they're with. SO..never adoption.

having unprotected sex while you're aware of your inability to give any children that may come about the best life they deserve is your choice.but if this happens it is now your responsibility do put the child first and decide whats best for them.adopting your son out to a loving family that for whatever reasons aren't able to create a baby themselves isn't a bad thing, keeping a child you can't take care of is.by giving your baby to a loving family you fulfilled your role as a good mother by providing your child with the best life you could.he/she can now have every opportunity all children should have available.always remember the only right decision is the one that gives the baby the best advantages so they can grow into the adult that you can be proud of.If you can't physically do it someone can and should.i gave my son up and would never take back that decision.he has loving family and a great school and friends.he wouldn't be that lucky had i been selfish.

Since I'm 39 and I make good money and am able to provide for a child I would keep it and raise it. If I were 15 years old that'd be a different story - I'd probably have an abortion because my parents would have seriously killed me if they ever thought I had pre-marital relations.

Abortion, without a doubt. I'm 42 and have always felt this way. I've never desired children and always used some form of birth control, but if it had ever failed me (or does in the future) I wouldn't go through with the pregnancy. It's just not something I desire to do...and at my current age, having never had a child, the chances of any child I had having birth defects is a lot higher than that of a younger woman.

I feel that I am just now able to raise a child on my own if I had to but if I had answered that same question in years past than it would have been different.

I had an abortion 31 years ago. I was planning on gestating and raising it, but circumstances caused me to change my mind. I have always been Pro Choice and if put in the same situation today I would make the exact same choice.

Myself, I'd go with option 1....abortion.
I believe that I'm too old to single parent successfully and far too short on finances as well. Also, my body isn't healthy enough to support an unexpected pregnancy. For the above reasons, I take precautions, and hopefully would never have to resort to abortion. Although it would be the best option for me and any unborn child of mine, it would be something I'd never be able to forgive myself for either. Catch 22.

I would never have an abortion. I would have the baby and raise it. The father would either help or pay child support.

Have the child and raise it. I believe in a woman's right to choose, but abortion is not an option for me. My boyfriend is already fixed anyway.
