we make sure our pit eats a very good brand of dog food, our vet
suggested "lamb & rice" as one of the better diets, also exercise
your pit daily, the more he/she is exercised the better its shape,
instead dog cookies we often treat him w/carrots for i.e. good
behavior, etc. we also cook ourselfs for him, mix rice, carrots,
lean chicken, & again carrots into his food. we hope your reason for wanting your pit to be ripped w/muscle is for the looks & not for the purpose of feights, plz. do not misunderstand our concern,
but too many individuals own this kind of dog only for the feighting
if these individuals would not exist the pit would not have such a
bad reputation, the best u can do is give your dog lots of exercise
just as if u would do if you want to "bust" out of your seems

You need to put him on a high protein dog food...check the pet stores for a high quality brand, and be sure and check the back of the bags for the percentage of protein in it. Worked for my Female Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has got some impressive thighs and a big bulky chest. She is very agile, and she'll leave even the Greyhounds in the dust at the Dog Park, lol! Also as others suggested on here, exercise regularly, by walking him or letting him run and play with other dogs like at your local Dog Park. (of course if he is properly socialized and won't pick a fight with other dogs no offense to your pit bull I love them, and I would have one if my husband wasn't so nervous around them and for that breed banning thing) But I got the next best tough breed, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. (actually I have 2 now, I got a male, and he is going to be bad one @$$ dog) In other words, feed your dog a high quality, meat-based diet and, just as Nature set things up, your dog will thrive. Fear not the feeding of Protein! heres a link below to help you out...Good Luck!

why? So it will look bad ***? train your dog to the "T". Us pit bull owners need to do our part. Simple exercise will strengthen your dog, mentally and physically.
