I've always wondered that too. I can only say they are probably insecure and want or need to feel loved in return. What else do you say when someone is telling you they love you? lol. You feel compelled to answer back the same way. People who do this tend to be very clingy and needy in a relationship. I think thats why people who say I love you so early in a relationship tend to be single more often than not.

No It's not I'm turning 14 in 2 months and They won't lat. Unless they act like they are 16 or older. Some 13 year olds can be inlove with someone older it usually works that way. My friend Jen was 13 and was daiting a 15 year old and they just broke up like a couple months ago and she is already a junior. and he is out of school.

When people say I love you a week into a relationship it can give you one of two hints. One could be that this person has had a humungous crush on you for quite a long time and they are ready to get it started. Another reason is that they are trying to send you a signal that they are uncomfortable in the relationship and they are trying to get things started and a conversation about the relationship started. It's normal and if you don't like it I would ask them why they do it and talk it out. It worked for me! ;-)

Well, there is such a thing as "love at first sight". The day my husband met me he said he loved me and informed my parents that he was going to marry me and take me to Califorina. We got married 6 weeks after that day and here 28 years later are still happily together. BTW I was not exactly a sweet 16, I was 25 and had only moved back to my parents house a few months earlier because of financial problems.

Nobody knows what real love is anymore that's why. Now it's all about the physical and the quicker you make it all familiar and serious like (1 hour to 1 day ), you can now hit the sheets. How romantic uh?

b/c they are looking for where they stand in your world. There is no other explanation. It's difficult to love an innocent puppy in a week. This is most likely a needy, insecure person.

Depends. Maybe be because in fact they dont know what love is and think it is the right thing to say.
I have a little cousin that says it to her boyfriend. It seems rediculous. But I dont think she knows better.
