This weekend I want to take my special somebody to a really romantic place. I know it's short notice but I can get airline tickets in a second, and money is no problem. So I was wondering, where would be the most romantic place to take a special somebody? And I don't want it to be a cruise because we did that last year, and she really didn't care for it, though not to say she didn't enjoy it.

Make it someplace SHE will love - what does she like to do? Museums, sailing, hiking, sunbathing? That should determine where you go.

If you're on the west coast, Hawaii is a great place if money is no problem. If you're fit, rent a surfboard at Waikiki and try tandem surfing. That's what I wanted to do this year anyway. Imagine walking on the beach in the warm air with the sun setting. Take the stress out of the trip by not going to far and avoiding language differences.

The most romantic place my husband ever took me will surprise you....He took me and his dirt bike out to a gravel pit with a picnic and some cold beers...He then rode his bike up the wall to the top and then came down and went up the other way...Drawing a huge 5 or 6 story Heart in the dirt....19 years and counting...He's a keeper...It doesn't have to be all about money and plane tickets...But by the sounds of you, your girl is probably a little more high maintenance than that...Too bad.

Forget all of those other answers! The best romantic place to take that special someone is a restaurant called 'the melting pot', it's a fondue restaurant. You can wine and dine her the way she deserves to be wined and dined. Check out the website to see for yourself. There are several locations nationwide! Trust me she, you will take her breathe away!

I think the ocean is wonderful.

But if you already took her on a cruise, maybe a quiet spot in the mountains would be nice? Maybe the upscale ski resorts (even if you don't ski, they are lovely.)

Yosemite park is lovely, but I don't know if it's snowed in. Then you get very unique mountains and some wonderful trees too!

Best of luck.
