Tinned puppy food, mashed would be better in nutrients than human breakfast cereals. Any old dog food just won't do, it has to be PUPPY food. And you need to be feeding them for at least another 3 weeks minimum before they are ready to leave home.

my 7 pups are just past 8 weeks and im only just willing to let them go as that is plenty young enough dont let the pups go until they are at least 8 weeks old they should be on puppy food not any sort of dog food because the puppy food has got much more goodness in it for them and puppy biscuits they love them give them a little bit of apple as well its good for them you realy dont need to be giveing them milk as it will give them the trotts i use to give mine a little bit of weetabix at nite time mixeds it with water and put a little bit on the roof of there mouth with your finger that way they get to eat it better but dont let them go what ever you do until they are 8 weeks old as they will still go to the mother until she tells them to go away good luck

8 weeks is the norm, they need time with their siblings as well as mom, when they eat dry kibble on there own not mashed they are good to go, but do give them time to paly and socialize with the other pups

they should still be 8 weeks because they learn fro each other how to bite and play and socialise - once they are gone from their brothers and sisters they don't get that kind of young training again, so no don't let them go yet. You might be selling them to people who are clueless about looking after such small pups too.
