I dont really trust the companies that say they'll get you out of debt by just making all bills in one payment !!

as well you shouldn't.
those companies hurt more than they help and they wreck your credit even further. most charge fees.
negotiate with your creditors individually and work something out. you will be sorry if you don't.

I would recommend that you avoid the companies who promise to lower your monthly payments. I tried one for over a year and I got absolutely nowhwere and ended up in bankruptcy. Call your creditors yourself to see what they will do to work with you. If I had done this I wouldn't be sweating out the 5-7 year wait for my credit to come back. It has been a really painful experience for me. Good luck, but stay away from those that promise stuff that's too good to be true.

it will leave a harsh mark on your credit. only do it if you are in financial trouble.
