I prophesied to a woman that she would have a baby and to not be sad because she lost a baby and it never happened. But I have done so before when I felt prompted and I have seen things come to pass for other people I've prophesied to. (weird I know).

I'll bet your "prophesies" would be just as accurate as anybody else just guessing.

Recognize that like most people who prophesy, whether as a Christian prophet, via tongues and interpretation, or as a psychic, you are not predicting the future. Whether or not it existed in Biblical times, there is no such thing as supernatural prophecy, religious or otherwise, only predictions.

If I make a hundred predictions, some will most likely come to pass. Some will not. That is true whether I do so in church, in a tarot parlor, or in a newspaper astrology column.

The "fulfillment" of a single "prophecy" gives the illusion that it was truly divinely inspired, or conveyed by a spirit, or that the future was somehow actually seen. But it is an illusion. The failure of a single "prophecy" is proof that the success of the other one was simply by mere chance. If that were not true, then God would be making a mistake with the incorrect prophecy (or the spirit, or whatever, would be). And God, by definition, does not make mistakes.

You may have been misled by your own spiritual leaders or others into believing that you can truly prophesy (I was too). Realize that you have nothing to forgive yourself for.

Learn from this and do not prophesy to others in the future. Those "prophecies" that fail to come true can only hurt other people and damage their faith in you, in God, and in themselves.

I prophesied that the Yankees would win the World Series, but that didn't happen either.

that is why we should not predict
of course some people have glimpses of what may happen , but that isn't something we should tell people for two very good reasons
1- it may not happen and all we seen was something symbolic or didn't see the whole picture
2- it messes with free will
so sadly when you have these premonitions , you have to try and keep it to yourself
of course you can offer a little guidance and i believe this is the only reason we may see things

If it upsets you a lot when your predictoins are wrong, it's simple enough to realise maybe you should stop doing them. Though you may not want to, it's the only way to avoid these situations.

Prophesy on the lottery, send your prediction to the paper, and promise to god to tithe your winnings. Once you've hit the big jackpot, people will believe you.

Move On it is what it is. This is were we have to be content in who we are in the Lord and know that we are forgiven. Not to keep making the same mistakes, but to learn from them and press on.

When you recognize your past mistakes for what they are. Are you a prophet because God called you to be a prophet or because you wanted to be one? I wouldn't want to be a prophet for love or money, but if God called me, i know that He would equip me for the work. And it's not weird, it's Biblical.

Let people know that God will heal their wounds and he has something else in store for them, try not to predict things that you aren't sure will happen.
