Okay, I talk to one of my friends online almost constantly. He's usually so nice, and he's three years older than me. He has social anxiety and has to take medication for it, but it makes him a jerk sometimes. He just recently told me to grow up because I told him that I was jealous of a couple of my friends. I think he's annoyed with me, and I'm mad at him.

What should I do? We've been talking for almost 6 months now, and I'm really upset.

Be honest and talk to him about it. Until you clear the air, you don't know how he meant it. Perhaps he was showing you some tough love or perhaps he didn't mean it as harsh as it sounded. talk and clear up any misunderstandings.

If he has social anxiety then you need to cut him some slack and if it's the medication that makes him cranky then catch him on a day that he doesn't take the medice and tell him how you feel. That will cause him to think next time you upset him.

If you need some more advice, feel free to email me.

sounds like he may be using the social anxiety thing to play his cards the way he wants,if your jealous of these two he should at least have the decency to try and ease your mind and avoid all situations that might cause you concern, let him know how you feel and ask him if he is playing games, you have better things to do and ignore him for awhile.........good luck

i just think your being way to emotional just sit down relax and chill it's cool to be mad at someone just have reason to back it up!
and it is slighly childish to be jealous. period!
and if he is older then you he will not tolerate it! :( don't try to take it too personal either he is just stating that people who are jealous overly jealous i should say tend to be childish and he must like you for him to tell you to get over it in a blunt way!
don't worry i'm sure it's cool!

Just talk to him and ask him what was up. So yea I totally agree with the first answer. but also. it's okay to be jealous every so often. just be sure to look at what it is you're jealous about. good luck

Try and talk to him again later. He might just be touchy because of his disorder. There is no need to worry, if you handle it correctly.
Its not a very wise decision to put all of your heart into a relationship with a person who has that disorder. They can be irrational.
