I believe Superman was created by Jews, so I'm sure they never intended for him to be looked at as an atheist.

Superman is the second coming of the messiah. We got god in the OT, Jesus in the NT, and now we get the holy Spirit. (and you thought the S stood for Superman).

I am a Christian, and an American.

Superman is, in story, an alien from another planet. Where in the Bible does it NOT allow for other worlds and intelligent life?

Superman stands for truth, justice, and the American Way. He is a hero whom fights bad and does good. America was founded, in part, for a country with religious freedom. In essence, Superman stands for Christianity, as well as all other major and minor religions whom can practice on our soil.

Your narrow-minded views are the same as those whom start wars by hi-jacking airplanes and flying them into buildings.

Well, did Jesus die for the sins of people on Krypton? No. So there weren't any Christians there. They were also a higher race of beings.

And Christopher Reeve was a documented atheist. He knew that stem cell research was a lot more good than praying.

I think Superman is an interesting thing for Christian children to watch. A baby who arrived on earth from unknown origins, separated from his father, possessing marvelous powers, doing good.

Familiar?
