Had the same problem last yr. here in Ft. Lauderdale Fl.
Police will not tell you, they arrest you. Hello.
I had to go to the courthouse or you can try to call them & see if they bother answer the phones, they will tell you or point you in the right direction, I ended up calling Tallahassee,It depends on where you live.They gave me a number to the warrants dept. & I finally got through. I didn't have one & it was a big pain in the butt,very time consuming nobody down there wants to work, just take there breaks.Gotta love those government workers they are my favorite.

you can call the DPS office and check to see if there are any warrants issued against the driver's license. also you must call the county in which you believe the warrant to be issued, I believe it is either the county or district clerk.

Sometimes, your local police/sheriffs department has a website where you can even check for warrants online.
