My ex and i broke up just a month and half ago. This is our first valentines day without each other in 5 years but he has a girlfriend. We have had no contact except for last week I put a vday gift in his truck while he was at work but still no phone calls or seeing each other. He calls me today & leaves a message that say he wanted to wish me a happy vday and thanks for his gift and to call him if I wanted too. 15 minutes later he calls back again I was unable to answer my phone & 15 minutes later after that I just happened to grab my purse and answered the phone. Talked for a few minutes then I told him I would call him back. Called we talked for 30 minutes. He called an hour later talked a few more minutes. 2 hours later he calls again and we talk some more. Just bsing. Now he is at work and calling me. Does he miss me ? Is there trouble with the new gilfriend ? Anyones thoughts

He called me both Wednesday & Thursday of this week. Thursday he calls me to see if I have his cell phone records. Because his girlfriend has been calling her husband and her husband called my x and told him that she has been calling him all the time and that she said she still loves him and is leaving my x. Does he still care possibly for me or I am just his comfort zone that he knows I will always be here no matter how many times it hurts me. Because no phone calls today.

A 5 year relationship builds bonds that are tough to break. He does miss you. There could be trouble with his new girlfriend and remembers the good times with you. I was in a relationship where my woman was abusive. I thought about the relationship with my current girlfriend and went back to one of my x's and welcomed me with open arms.

He could also feel guilty for losing a good person he sees in you. His girlfriend probably is not what he likes.

As for not calling you right away, he was probably in shock that you would still care about him to leave a present. The girlfriend of his probably got jealous and became enraged with anger that someone else on Valentine's day gave him a gift.

I would be careful though, if he left you, he better have a good reason for doing so. And with another woman in the picture, she could become angery at you and turn violent. I would not want to see anyone get hurt over a feud like this.

is he has called u that much within the matter of days after not seeing u he deff misses u. sure he likes the new g/f but not the way he loved u. he knows that to and has just probably figured it out. she was a rebound girl and its striking him that u may still care because of the present. he needed u to take the initiative because of all his pride now that u have he will be eager to share his feelings again. he is still in love.

Well yes it sounds like he misses you, and he misses you a lot. Sometimes people brake up, and then realize that they really did not want to do that, and that may be the case here, since he is calling you all the time from work.

He broke up with his girlfriend because she saw the gift you left and went into a hissy-fit and stormed out. Now he is alone and needs sex, so he called you.
