If you get flowers delivered to you for Valentine's Day, are you supposed to tip the delivery guy?

You can if you want to. Sure he or she will appreciate it since they mostly make close to minimum wages. But you don't have to since the cost of delivery is figured in on the bill.

Yes, it's considered good manners, just like tipping the pizza guy. I usually give them a couple of bucks, or maybe $5 if I have it and especially if the weather is bad.

Lucky you to get flowers delivered today!

If you get flowers you didn't order, then the flower dude certainly isn't anticipating a tip. I bet they jack the prices up to inlcude tip.

I think you should tip the person below 5 dollars or 1 dollar

You can, but it's not necessary. You only tip those who perform a manual labor for you like a waitress, valet parking, etc...

The delivery guy's salary is not supplemented by tips. But hey.. it's Valentine's day! The guy may want to get his girlfriend a nice gift and it would come in handy!

No, if you aren't the one who paid for the flowers, you have no obligation to tip. I'm sure the delivery guy wouldn't mind if you did, but he's probably not expecting it.

No. You are the recipient of a gift. If any tip is to be given, it should be given by whomever sent the flowers.

no tip is necessary. It's a gift being delivered to you. You don't tip the UPS guy either, right?
