I had my first boyfriend when I was 15. It only lasted about a month though and I didnt really feel anything for him. My current bf and I started going out just before I turned 17. We've only been together 4 months but I love him so much. I dont think you have to be an adult to be in a relationship, you just have to be mature enough to be able to give respect and compromise to the other person, and the same goes for your bf/gf. There's no real perfect age.

It depends on how mature the indiviuals are. I always thought I knew what I wanted since the age of 17. Then I aged more and figured out who I really am and found out what kind of woman I actually want to be with and how to tell if I would have a good life her.

I don't think people under 18 know exactly what they want, I've seen alot of people marry at 18 and divorced at 19. And when I ask them what happened and most of them say the other person commited adultery. People who are married should'nt be doing that.

So ya, puppy love realtionships can start at a very young age. But most serious relationships begin when a person is mature enough to assess the relationship through and through.

do you mean serious relationships? well people younger than 24 (women mostly, im 21) think they are really in a relationship but they're not. thats not to say that highschool sweethearts dont exist. it is just common to find like a 15-17 yr old chick who thinks she is going to marry the guy she's with. as far as some one over 18, they are more mature but often times don't really care about settling down til their in theyre mid 20s.

You should be an adult and are able to take care of yourself. I would say 20's because you should be finishing college and working.
