Bcause it can cause you to burn more easily than someone not taking this drug. You are more sensitive to the sun.

doxycycline can make you sun sensitive. But artificial light is not a problem.

It will cause a serious skin reaction. Your skin will break out bright red with tiny little bumps and it would take 2 weeks for it to go away.

i don't know about the bumps, but i took it and got out on the lake even with sun screen i turned crispy! and i normally don't burn easy so be careful
