A mistake. No, let's see, how about mix-up?
Seriously, Hercules is a great name for male or Bradford, Bobo is cute so is Izzy.

For female, Tea Cup, Tea Cakes, Izzy could also be a female,
.
Hope this helps.

I knew some people with a Chihuahua named 'Sancho'.

For those who don't know, a Sancho is the guy who is seeing your wife/girlfriend while you are away.

It cracked me up every time to see a tiny 4# dog who challenged my masculinity like that. HAHA!

For a Boy how about "Druce" which in Celtic means "Wise man"
n for a Girl "Vesta" which in Latin means "Goddess of the heart"

I like Hercules. If you want to stay mythical, try Aphrodite.
