Did he reject me?

Question

i sent a card to my crush and signed with the initials of my nickname (we go to the same martial arts class)

then today he kept tlking about how he cdnt work out who sent him the card, totally hinting at me and trying to get me to confess.

Then he started talking to his mate, hu then started laughing and asked me if it was me who had sent it

I totally freaked out and denied it, bt his mate kept asking and nagging me about it all night.

But my crush never actually asked me directly, and he didnt laugh and kept telling his mate to back off.

So im really confused, did he reject me? or did just not know how to react? please help, im so humiliated!

It sounds like he was afraid of rejection and so he was trying to be sure it really was you that sent him the card. And then his mate butted in and humiliated both of you. I think if you can talk to him privately and just tell him, yes it was you, he will tell you he likes you too. Go for it! Games never work. But in that situation, you did the best you could to save face.

I'm confused why you would sign your initials. I mean either you wanted him to know who it was from or you didn't. Seems to me in that situation you either sign your name or nothing at all. Don't be so bashful if you really like this person. Suck it up and tell him. Have confidence. Confidence is a beautiful thing.

I think the no laughing may have been a good sign. At least it sounds like he respects you enough to not want you to be teased. That tells me that it's a good possibility he won't laugh in your face if you told him how you feel.

Although, I do think that the more you do stuff like sign initials only, the more you are setting your self up for embarrassment.

first check you spelling , secondly it is so cute you having the same nickname ..Aawww if he has a mate why are you fooling around with this guy ,...maybe all you do is flirt..he probably thinks of you as a tease ..of course you just got made a fool of in front of his "mate" is he married or by mate are you referring to his boyfriend, most people say his girl or something like that ..and if you do not know how to re-act to rejection ,and heartache why are you dating....

I think he didn't know how to react. I don't know how old you both are, but I am assuming you are young. Boys don't know how to react. They haven't had enough experience with girls and relationships...

Personally, I think women should play hard to get. Keeps dogs from taking advantage of your feelings. And every guy has been a dog at least once in his life...

So, No, I don't think he rejected you. I think he wasn't sure and didn't want to be rejected himslef. Escpecially in front of his freinds...

No, he didn't. I mean I don't know the big deal with you girls not just going up to a man and asking him on a date or something. Then you would get a straight answer and wouldn't have to come on here and ask questions like this.

Don't be humiliated. IT sounds like it was his friend who was the problem. He was just wanting to know if it was YOU who sent the card. Maybe he likes you. Take him aside and talk to him about it.

You need to be more direct. Game playing or hint dropping is good for once you are in the relationship to keep it interesting. Not when you are trying to start one.

Don't be humiliated! Try to get him alone (without his mate) to have an audience is much too embaressing for both of you to try and talk about this. Be Brave!!

i think that he was probably still in shock because i guess he didnt see this coming. give it a little time if he doesnt talk to you then you were definitely denied. if he tries and talks to you and is around a lot then he wants to make something of it.
