I'm getting a little angry here...why aren't things reversed? Why do women get more attention and gifts on valentines then men do? Why don't women get men flowers? I work hard all year long, I love my wife...maybe I'd like some roses with the some little candy hearts. I LIKE LITTLE CANDY HEARTS!

The little candy hearts are awesome! Maybe your wife would think that sending you flowers would offend you. Some women tend to think that flowers are a feminine gift, but I personally think that they are a very nice gesture. I gave a flower to a very close friend of mine before he retired and he thought that it was the greatest gift anyone could give.

Tell her to give you some of those little hearts and a HUGE RED ROSE!!!!

You should tell your wife this (candy hearts) but anyways i don't think girls/women think guys/men would like the carry around flowers all day around the office, but some things like candy hearts would be something send up to the office for the boyfriend/husband. I guess some girls just don't think.

I have given flowers to men. I usually try to find something more personal though, and give that personal gift with a single rose. Frankly though I`ve always wondered if men liked to get flowers or if they thought that was...for lack of a better word...gay. Your question has made me feel better. As for candy, I haven`t met the man yet who didn`t enjoy candies. Women should give something to men on Valentine`s Day too: fair`s fair.

I say: Speak up - tell her what you want! Maybe she doesn't know you want a little "TLC" and something extra on Valentine's Day. Sometimes all you have to do is ask. You say you're married - there should be open lines of communication so that she already knows you want some candy. If you want to buy subtle, buy a couple of bags for yourself right now and bring them home. She'll get the hint for next year.

It's a shame and not fair - V-day has become a woman's holiday. For myself, I like to buy gifts for my guy.

Man, don't you read? This category for DAYS has been full of chicks asking what to get their bf for V'day, and if it's okay to send a guy flowers, etc.

MANY women buy their guy gifts and/or flowers on V-day. Don't biotch at women in general because the woman/women in your life didn't get you anything.

Hell yea dude I get exactly where you're coming from. Girls get Love Letters, Flowers, and Romantic things.

Why can't we get a Love Letter? Why can't we get something that is truly from the heart? Why in the world do US GUYS have to do all the MUSHY romantic stuff while you girls do nothing and buy us like a frickin HAT or something. Ugh. Anyways lol I still love all you girls, but I'm just saying.

I love you girls sorry for venting. :)

I understand where you are coming from but you should tell your wife. Most of the time we assume that men don't like flowers. But if you do let your women know. I sent my husband one of those fruit flower arrangements and he loved it.

I'd be more than willing to send flowers to my bf if he had any interest (which he does NOT). Actually, he and I agree on the flower issue - I'd rather go out to dinner with him or order a pizza delivery than waste $ on flowers.

LOL, because smart women know that we alrady have what you want. Flowers are symbolic of the vagina. You give them to us because you want some. Smart men know that in order to get some, you gotta be loving and romantic first. In a good relationship, it's win/win and there's enough for everyone.

If you cannot tell your wife you would like a box of candy for Valentines day then you have bigger problems to solve! Tell her what you want and don't be mad at her for not reading your mind!!
