Marijuana---- The Lowdown.
I'm not going to claim to be an expert on Marijuana. Im not going to say that I know everything about it because I don't. I will just tell my short side.
I started smoking when I was 14, Im 21 now. I went through every phase of Weed use you can think of. I have relatives who sell the drug. Alot of people say this, but the difference is that my relatives are actual MILLIONAIRES from it. I've seen thousands of pounds of Chronic on tables (no seeds at all, barely any stems, stinking up a HUGE area of space) Marijuana is indeed addictive. I was addicted to it. It causes people to lose sight of their real goals in life and it hinders your performance. It can turn a bright child with the world at his fingertips into just an ordinary person. It can cause anxiety around women, and people and general, although in reality it these things can be overcome with a bit of willpower. It will make you forget things.Running out of space so respond and I will too.

I do not think people say that. When you say effects do you mean the physical effects or the societal effects? I do not know anyone who says it has no effects. There may or may not be any long term effects of smoking occasionally, there are not many good long term studies because most come in with there own bias, those for and against. When you say addictive, marijuana is not physically addictive, though it is psychologically habit forming. There are not physical withdrawal symptoms like that of heroin or nicotine.
I wonder who you talk to, your drug selling family or the rest of the world.

Like all addicts you over used this. Does not sound as if it is your fault, as you mentioned you are from a family of addictive personalities.
I can pretty much bet this is not the only thing you/your family use/used.
Addictive personalities can get hooked on anything that makes them feel good, drugs, prescriptions, alcohol, PEOPLE, food you name it.

Do not go blaming it on the first thing you can think of to get some attention. You will get so much attention bringing this topic up, you can not pass it up.....addictive personality. Addictive to the attention you are getting.

Most addictive personalities do choose to go to some sort of mental illness professional, this is not a bad idea for you to do.

We hear enough lies and propaganda about this topic....everything in moderation.

I quit a few months ago after using the weed for 28 years-life has never been better. The best way to go thru life is sober-anyone who gets high or drunk needs to ask themselves why being normal isn't enough. I mean, if you truly love and admire yourself, then there is no need to alter your mental state. Show me someone getting high and I'll show you someone who isn't completely embracing their potential or loving themselves to capacity. Look at a bong sometime-that is what your lungs look like. Can't be very healthy if you ask me, and making money off of others' addictions isn't going to win you any humanitarian awards either-there are plenty of legitimate ways to make a ton of money if you aren't lazy.

I've been smoking 3-5 joints a day for the last twenty years and uh, er, um . . . I forgot what I was going to say . . . oh, yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm not addicted and I'm pretty sure it has no effects . . . either.

marijuana use also causes a decrease in sperm counts, so later in life men cannot make their spouses pregnant. It causes liver damage, that over time leads to liver failure, it also is the second largest cause of lung cancer. There is nothing good about marijuana, people who say it does no harm are simply rationalizing their usage of it.

why be sober when you can be high?its not bad for you, it only makes things funnier, makes things look cooler, makes you hungry, and makes you 1000 times more relaxed then being sober. so have fun with that
