999 used to be the address of the major nut house in Toronto. 999 Queen Street West. I guess they were getting to many of the loonies bugging over it so they moved their address to 1001 Queen West. It was the same building with the same doorway and everything, nothing actually moved except the numbers, which were of course in the same place as before. (if this makes any sense you should practise psychiatry).

666, in itself, is JUST a number. No more, no less. Not sinister. Same for 999 and all of the other numbers.
Of course, the problem occurs when people try to tie concepts, thoughts, ideas, etc to banners (like numbers and other signs and symbols).

I am so sorry but this question made me laugh a little. I can understand where you would get this idea from. Opposites, right? Well for some reason, there are people out there who believe with all of their hearts that the number 11 is holy. Something about it being an angelic number. I read about it on www.beliefnet.com. That website has almost everything about all sorts of religions and numbers and situations. I recommend that.

666 isn't bad/good and 999 isn't bad/good.
But the mark of the beast is the beast logo, and if these numbers are used as actual representations of the beast & for the beast purposes, then these numbers are bad.
