well i'm a 15 year old guy..and im only 5 foot 3. i've just been so frustrated with my height because EVERYONE is taller than me. My friends that used to be shorter than me are suddenly waay tall. I feel like the third wheel when im with my friends because If we are all standing and having a conversation, I'm all the way down here and I cant get a word in. Its fine for girls to be short because guys like girls to be shorter than them. I also have a fear of dating other girls because i KNOW they will turn me down. In today's society how many people do you see that have a shorter husband or boyfriend? none. I just don't know how i am going to live my whole life like this. It causes me to have soo much low self esteem and lack of confidence. Im afraid of applying for jobs because im so short. I try to avoid social events because everyone there is much larger than i am. I went to subway to order some food, and they have trouble hearing me because i can really talk directly to them. The little glass thing blocks most of me. I just dont know what to do anymore. I know your probably going to say i'm only 15 and i have time to grow but no. All my friends who were always teased about being short are now tall. I used to be taller than people at my school and now im not. Just hard for me to do anything socially related. I feel if i was taller than i could achieve more of my goals. Do more of the things i love. help please! i heard there was like some growth hormone you could get injected in you does that work? =(

Don't fret. I am 5'6" tall and i suffered through the same stigma as you. I always thought girls went for taller guys and i have to say most of them do, which sucks. But low and be hold i started asking myself if height really mattered anyway. I gained a lot of confidence by doing things that i enjoyed doing no matter what. height never became an issue after that I also learned to laugh at myself and poke fun at my height and not take it so seriously. My attitude changed and in turn i changed too. I am actually getting married to a former model next year, she's 5'11" and although i felt a little intimidated at first i soon learned that she was ridiculed too for being tall. So i say to you, go out and find yourself a model. you never know, she may have the same stigma as you only opposite. good luck

I'm 5.6" tall and my short stature had always been an impediment for achieving poise and self-confidence. It was about two years ago that I met my wife and we almost instantly made connection. She is about half an inch shorter than me but I would always feel a little insecure whenever she wore sandals. This would make her look much taller than myself. Not that anything wrong with that but society collectively feeds us with some stereotypes and a guy shorter than a woman would always raise eyebrows. My wife (who back then was my girlfriend) was conscious of myself being a little uneasy. She started coaching me on improving my dress coordination and also suggested that I should try wearing those walktall shoes. Doing a little research myself I gathered some info on stretching exercises. Although it’s true that exercises will not make you grow taller but it definitely helped me improve my posture. We certainly have more height hidden behind our slouched back and shabby dressing than we ever realize. There are some very basic stretching exercises and vertical fashion techniques that together can make a noticeable improvement in your height. And lastly it’s all a matter of perception. It all boils down to how we perceive ourselves. A better height can add to our confidence, but again, it’s our mind that perhaps makes us insecure. Some short dudes possess endless energy that makes their presence much taller than their height. You can follow the link below to get more info on posture exercises and some basic visual height enhancement techniques:

It is probably because of your parents or of your ancestors heights. But don't let that get you down!! Just because your short doesn't mean your worst then anybody else or you won't have as much respect. People don't judge others about their size. And if they do then they are complete stupid idiotic losers. I am EXTREMLEY short. But I like myself that way. I wouldn't be me if I was as tall as anybody else. Don't be afraid of reaching your goals because of what you are, on the outside. NO ONE CARES. And if your friends don't include you in conversations then you should either tell them whats bothering you in a private conversation or get new friends. True friends don't care how tall you are or anything like that. PLUS some jobs reley on people being short. Look at some of the greatest jockeys in the world. They are mostly 5"1!!! But the moral is: walk into a buissness meeting/social event with your head held high and optimism on your smile. Be proud of being you.
I hope this helps, i tried :)

At fifteen, you have not reached full growth, so don't think you are stuck just yet. But no matter what height you grow to , it isn't height that gets the girl, it's the man and the humanity of the man.
Dudley Moore, Paul Williams, Audy Murphy, Alan Ladd all actors, all 5 foot tall or LESS, and all were never without female companions, and all were very successful. The key, they had faith in their own abilities, and they ignored their height. Work on developing your personality, and stop worrying about your physical attributes.

Low HGH and high testosterone
Inadequate insulin release
May lead to less growth in teenagers .
You can have a hormone test
And if you have low HGh and high blood sugar levels you can use Human Growth Hormone and insulin combined to promote growth .But it costs a lot . And do not think that about shorter husban or boyfriend . I have a friend called Orkun and he has a pretty gf who is taller than him .I am taller and more handsome than him but I do not have any gf now .It is not related with height , It is about self confidence and you should try to find a for you .

I think you are short because of heritage or when you were little you didnt eat enough nutritious fruits. I read in this book that her mom made her eat fruits and vebetables every day and now she is so tall. Dont be discouraged that you are smaller then others.Try to achieve all of your goals.

You are just fine, SHORT. The dear Lord loves ya. Height does not make a man. The world is yours to explore, height is not a requirement to be happy. Many folks are short...with tall partners. Its great....Step forward SHORT person....and grab the tiger by the tail. God bless.

There is nothing a human cqan take that will make them grow taller. Don't believe anyone pushing anything that says it can. Its all genetics and short of that bone stretching surgery they do in japan that is really dangerous you can't do anything.

you inherit your parent's height. if your parents are short and most people in your family are also, you might be, too. people also grow at different rates and at different times. don't be discouraged. i am short too and my friends who were shorter than me are now taller than me. you can try eating more nutritious foods and drink more milk to make your bones stronger. good luck
