Funny you bring that up. The bible has many different "versions"; none of which fully represent all of the books of the "gospel" as taught and acepted by the church at different times (Kabalah, book of Meccabees, Gospel of Mary, etc). The word "version" denotes it as something less than the "whole" truth anyway. It is that person's idea of the truth. The King James idea, the American idea, the International idea, the childrens idea. The only truth is hidden in many places and many religions. You have to dig. And even then alot is lost to antiquity, or just not found yet (like the dead sea scrolls). Use God's greatest gifts; your brain and free will. Good luck!

Many things got a bit messed up in the translation.
Sometimes when you read a different version it makes a lot more sense.
