As long as the skin is intact. leave it alone. Put Triple Antibiotic Ointment on it to keep it moist. Keep it wrapped with the ointment and gauze taking it off daily to clean it with a little soapy water. It should improve over the next few days. If it does not, see your doctor.
Worsening could be indicated by increased redness or pain or a good deal of drainage. As long as nothing deep is exposed, this is how you may proceed.

It depends how big the burn is and how severe it is. You may not have touched the oven long enough to cause a burn that's too serious. Cold water is a good start. Also, go onto Web MD and look up burns to determine the severity of your burn.
There are three degrees of burns, 1st is least serious, third is most serious. Any burn that is second degree or worse, goes entirely around a finger or limb, or doesn't respond to first aid needs medical attention.
Keep the area clean, cool, and moisturized, but don't put oily creams on it. First aid creams, like Neosporin, are a good idea. Put a sterile bandage over the burn and take an OTC painkiller.

soak it in warm water, not cold water so the area that was burned could heal at a warm temperature. after that, let your finger breath some air, but make sure you don't use the finger that was burned or otherwise it'll stille hurt.
