I have actually described this sensation to my Dr. as though someone walked by and poured hot water from my ankle to my toes, with me it's a pinched nerve in my lumbar area.

Being I am a damaged spine victim it sounds like the classic signs of a pinched nerve in your spine. Or the other possibility of circulation issues. But in either case speaking to a Doctor is on the safe side of knowing for sure.

My first reaction is that for some reason the muscles in your legs are tight pressing on the nerves. For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

It has the same feeling when you poor warm water on the inside of your leg from the knee down, you should have a doctor check it out if you don't sit in a proper manner and sit on your foot as a bad habit as you get older blood clots will have that same feeling. i would suggest you sit up when your in a chair or in bed don't put any extra pressure on the lower part of your leg it will come back to get you . it sounds as though you have had a good warning practise sitting properly or pay the price, you never want a nickname like peg. (For a wooden Peg leg)

sciatic,, syattic..cyatic..?? its a large nerve exiting the spine just above the pelvis..
try this... kneal down on the floor, put your knees sholder distance apart, lean forward untill your head rests on the floor, 'yoga' breath for as long as it takes to relax... inhail deeply and return to uprite position.
Here's another way to try for relief..
Lay flat on your back, pull your knees up as far to your chest as you can, breath untill you are relaxed, inhail and extend ,,,,

option...ciopractor...phisical theripiy.. [or the likes ]

I know what you mean I have the same problem. I went to the doctor about it and it's just sensitivity(or in my case it was). Don't worry visit your docotor or tell your mum or dad. You may also have to go to the bathroom really bad and your body is telling you to go. Hope I helped you! Good luck!!!
