I have to wipe eye boogers off my dog everyday about 2 or 3 times. His eyes don't seem to bother him but i was still curious, if there was something i could do. Or if its a sign for something.

Your dogs eyes naturally tear to clean them selves. Depending on the area you live in and how much your dog plays in the grass, dirt, etc, the eyes are just cleaning them selves out. What you see is just the dirt, etc from the eye that needs to be removed. Just like your does when you wake up from sleep, but an animls does it on a regular basis. If it turns colors, other than dark brown or black, or clear, then please have your dog checked at a vet.

Hope this helps.

Why do people get eye boogies? Cause its normal. Same with dogs.

But yes, if your dog seems bothered by them then consult a vet.

If you have what I call a "buggy eyed" breed like Shih Tzu then that is normal. If they don't seem to bother the dog, then don't let it bother you.

Some dogs eyes drain more than others.

You probably don't need to worry about it, but it might be best to consult a vet. Some times it depends on the breed.
