Both my boys were around 2 when they began to really care that it was snowing or care anything about the snow. They have a blast now, they are 3 1/2 and 5. They love to make snow angels and "Frosty" LOL

My daughter is 3.5 years old she loves the snow yet only about 20 min. of it she throws snow balls at mommy and loves to make snow angels. she still has a problem sledding its more work to get on the darn thing . Those snow suits are a Bear to get around in.

My son is 2 and he is old enough to enjoy it, but it is just too cold to let him stay out too long with his brothers (maybe 5 minutes). It will be nice when we get warmer weather but still cold enough to keep the snow! Fresh snow is best!
He was excited at the first snow this year, but now he is indifferent to it too.

I would say more around the 18 month mark or so. They are sturdier on their feet so they don’t have to sit in the snow. Right now it just makes them cold & uncomfortable.
